Angels Walk for Wishes was originally inspired by our son, Sawyer Dean Taylor, who died unexpectedly at just 9 days old. Sawyer’s passing has been devastating, but our loss has inspired our family to continue living in Sawyer’s memory. It has driven us to give back, to share Sawyer’s love, and to allow him a voice.

Along our journey to healing, we have met other mourning parents, and have connected with stories of their own angels. The strength and integrity of these incredible couples has humbled us. Their stories are no less important than our own, and it became clear that we had to include the memory of their angels at this annual event. Below are all of our stories:

As we recognize these 5 babies, we are devastated by the growing number of losses throughout our nation: 26,000 stillbirths, 900,000 early pregnancy losses, and 19,000 neonatal losses each year. If you too have been touched by such a loss, our hearts go out to you - you are not alone.
