WAIVER & AGREEMENT

I know that participation in a walk is potentially hazardous. I should not enter and walk unless I am able and properly trained. I assume all risks with participating in this event, including, but not limited to the following: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather (including high heat and/or humidity, extreme cold and/or chill), and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and assumed by me. Having read this waiver and understanding these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I for myself and for anyone on whose behalf I am entitled to act, hereby release and forever discharge the Angels Walk for Wishes, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Town of Strafford, and all sponsors and representatives and their successors from any and all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of or relating to my participation in this event, even if such claim or liability arises as a result of negligence of the Angels Walk for Wishes, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Town of Strafford, or any sponsor, volunteer or representative. I hereby agree to comply with all rules and regulations from walk officials.

I hereby grant Angels Walk for Wishes and its legal representatives the irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use and publish photographs or video images of me, or in which I may be included, for any purpose authorized by Angels Walk for Wishes, including but not limited to: website use, editorial publications, and advertising use. This grant includes the right to modify and retouch the images in the discretion of Angels Walk for Wishes. I understand that the circulation of such materials could be worldwide and that there will be no compensation to me for this use. Furthermore, I understand that I will not be given the opportunity to inspect or approve the finished products or the advertising copy or the printed matter that may be used in connection therewith. In granting this permission to Angels Walk for Wishes and its legal representatives, I am fully and without limitation releasing it from any liability that may arise from the use of the images. I understand that Angels Walk for Wishes will not include any names in connection with the use of the photographs.
